Academic Marathon with 3 PhD Vivas in 3 Weeks
In an academic feat, three PhD students from our research team have successfully defended their dissertations over three consecutive weeks. This academic marathon showcases the diverse and impactful research being conducted within the team.
Muhamad Sharafee kicked off the series with his research on "Synthesis, Characterization, and Batch Performance of Functionalized Clay-Based Adsorptive Film for Diclofenac Removal." His innovative work focuses on developing advanced materials for environmental remediation, addressing critical issues in water treatment.
Following closely, Faraziehan defended her thesis on "Membrane Surface Coating Deposition Using Polyphenolic-Amine for Oil-in-Water Emulsion." Her research advances the field of membrane technology, providing effective methods for separating oil from water, which is crucial for environmental protection and resource recovery.
Completing the trio, Aiizat Ikhwan presented his dissertation titled "Electrospun Fiber Adsorbent for the Removal of Cationic and Anionic Dyes in Wastewater." His study contributes significantly to wastewater management, offering new solutions for dye pollution, which is a major concern in industrial effluents.
Congratulations to Muhamad Sharafee, Faraziehan and Aiizat Ikhwan for their exceptional work and successful defenses. Their contributions are a testament to the dedication and innovation within this research team.
